Time to Protect British Citizens: Why the Border System Must Change

The current UK border control system is failing to keep people safe. Everyday citizens see the weak points in how the government handles non-citizens, asylum seekers, and irregular immigrants. Today, the technology exists to track anyone easily. Yet, the government chooses not to use it. It is time for common-sense updates to outdated court laws to put national protection first. [1]
A Broken System and Dangerous Loopholes
The biggest issue is that the UK court system treats non-citizens with the same legal rights as British nationals. This leaves local communities vulnerable. Under current rules, the government cannot put an electronic tracking tag on every asylum seeker without an individual court order.
This naive approach allows unvetted people to disappear into the population. When the police do not use a strict tracking system, they cannot guarantee who is walking the streets.
The Real Risks of Weak Controls
We see the dangerous consequences of these weak laws in real life. Consider the case of an individual who recently attacked a person while under the deep influence of drugs. This attacker had severe, known psychological problems. Yet, because of weak monitoring, he was free to cause harm.
Furthermore, the background of this individual raises serious questions. He resigned as a police officer in his home country for completely unknown reasons. His supporters claim he suffers from PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) from conflict. However, the facts show this is impossible. He never saw the war or served in combat. In reality, he ran away from his home country the exact moment the war started.
When the government fails to track individuals with this kind of unstable background, it fails its own people.

Public Riots and the Total Breakdown of Safety
Because the government refuses to take strict control, the situation has boiled over into total chaos. The UK is now seeing dangerous public riots where angry crowds are attacking peaceful individuals. Rioters have even targeted family homes and burned them down. [12]
This violence is completely terrifying, especially because young children live inside these houses. Burning down homes is a direct violation of basic human rights. The UK laws are acting so naively that they cannot even stop neighborhoods from turning into warzones. If the government had properly controlled and tracked irregular arrivals from abroad from the very beginning, this public rage and danger to innocent kids would never have happened.
Outdated Court Laws Must Be Updated
British judges live in a bubble of abstract legal theories. They argue that blanket tracking or strict containment violates human rights. But what about the human rights of British citizens—and the innocent children in these neighborhoods—to live in safety?
The law must adapt to modern reality. Parliament needs to write new laws that take power away from the courts. Non-citizens who enter the country without a visa should automatically be placed under a strict tracking system. Whether through mandatory physical tags or required phone GPS tracking, the state must maintain total visibility.
Conclusion: National Safety First
A nation has a fundamental right to control its territory. Forcing legal visa applicants to show massive bank accounts while letting irregular arrivals roam without tracking makes no sense. The UK must stop hiding behind old treaties. The government needs to update its laws, override the courts, and use modern technology to fully control non-citizens. Protection of the population must always come first.
